febooti fileTweak Download Speed 2.0 is an add-on that tells you the download time of any file. This program doesn´t put an entry in your Window´s programs menu. Instead, it adds to the contextual menu that appears when you right-click over a file´s name in Windows Explorer. You will see a new tab, named "Download Speed", that will show you how long will it take to download the chosen file, using the average values for different Internet connection types. It will consider downloading times for T1, 1.0 Mbps, Cable Modem, DSL ISDN, 100 Kbps, V90 Modem and your speed. When you first run the program, your connection speed will be unknown to the program. You can solve this by pressing on the "Test" link. Download Speed will then measure your Internet Connection´s Speed, and from that moment on it will display your download speed for every file you choose. This program will also allow you to calculate the download times for groups of selected files. Even in that situation, you can still check download times for each file by choosing a given file from the drop down menu. |
